We are recruiting for a **Junior Field Service Engineer** in France to be responsible for the installation, upgrade, repair and preventative maintenance of Vascular capital equipment. Working closely with the central dispatch team as well as sales/clinical colleagues, the Field Service Engineer will be responsible for driving customer satisfaction through service excellence. Key Responsibilities: * Hardware/software field support: includes system installation, maintenance, calibration, upgrades, troubleshooting and repair, also includes demo system maintenance and preparation for congresses * Document field service interventions per QA system requirements * Report capital equipment incidents per QA system requirements * Provide support and technical assistance for in-house training courses and congresses * Provide system maintenance and troubleshooting training to customer biomedical engineering departments and Abbott sales and field clinical staff * Extensive national and international travel required based as per business need Key Requirements: * A Bachelors degree in electronics, engineering or similar is preferred, but relevant experience considered * Prior experience in medical electronics service or related field service is required (medical devices/software based medical systems would be advantageous) * Strong electronic and mechanical engineering skills including troubleshooting * Computer skills: MS Office, Linux * Familiarity with Cathlab/operating room procedures/protocols would be advantageous * Willingness to be flexible, respond at short notice to scheduling requirements, work with autonomy in a fast-paced environment As you’d expect from a global healthcare company, we offer a fantastic range of benefits including competitive salaries and bonus potential, a superb defined contribution pension scheme, private healthcare, life assurance and a flexible benefits scheme.
